Just when kids learned not to eat legos...

The sick bastards decide to make it easy to make LEGO SHAPED PASTRIES.

If you want to reminisce over your lego-eating youth, this cookie cutter can be yours for $10.

Mid Engine, Toyota Powered Honda N600 Redefines Poke.

VW drivers, eat your heart out.

This is a 1971 Honda N600. The car has been improved in many ways over factory - it is now mid-engine (!), Toyota powered (!) and sports some outrageous suspension/chassis mods that make it's Kosei K1s (!!) poke so badly, the inner edge doesn't appear to be in the fender.

It also, apparently, feature a lot of duct tape. The engine is a supercharged 4A-GZE from a MKI MR2. The front suspension is from a Mustang. If you've got $4,000 and a deathwish, you can buy this thing : it's for sale on eBay.

Good Afternoon clock looks awesome, hard to read.

I have a slight obsession with clocks and watches that look awesome and are hard to tell time by - so this is right up my alley.

"The Good Afternoon clock by Japan's Mile Project almost gives the impression that time is but a ghost. Narrow rays of light that sneak through small slits in the bezel act as second, minute and hour hands. A great piece if you are already really zen about time, but perhaps nerve-wracking for those in a constant hurry."

Gumpert 'Ring time creams ACR, ZR1, GTR.

The Gumpert Apollo, Germany's latest and greatest super car, has run a 7:11.57 around the Nurburgring - making it both the fastest semi-practical production car and fastest car that looks like an insect with wheels.

The Dodge Viper ACR ran a 7:22.1, the ZR1 a 7:26.4 and the Nissan GT-R a 7:26.7. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nürburgring_lap_times)

While the Gumpert is stupid fast, it is technically not the fastest production car around the 13 mile course - the Radical SR8LM runs 6:48s.

Sheet metal origami - a table!

This table, designed by George Rice, is constructed from a single piece of sheet metal (and a piece of glass,) - cut and bent into what you see above. Very different and very cool looking. Unfortunately, no word on price of availability.

Screwdriver keys super useful - except on locks.

I have tried many times to use a key as a screwdriver, with varying levels of success. I guess these guys did too because they have come up with a solution: key screwdrivers. Just don't try to use them to open your door.

Driverless airport taxis introduced - look indifferent.

Heathrow Airport in London has rolled out their new driverless, electric taxi service to shuttle wankers to and from their cars.
The taxis, dubbed "ULTra Personal Pods," travel up to 25mph on a network of specially constructed roads between the airport's Terminal 5 and the business parking lot.

Hey car, what are you doing up there?

You don't belong up there, car! Get down!

"Door County authorities are trying to figure out how a motorist ended up near the top of the east arm of the Maple-Oregon Bridge across Sturgeon Bay after the arms of the drawbridge were lifted to a 45-degree angle."

Someone needs to find out what brand of brake pads this car was running - perfect ad material.

Mini Aston Martin: Not a Joke.

Here's an unlikely pairing of manufacturers: Toyota and Aston Martin. Even less likely is that the two companies would collaborate on a "3+1" micro car - but it's all true.
According to CNN, "The nearly finished Toyota [IQs] will be shipped to Aston Martin's assembly plant in Gaydon, England. There, the cars' interiors will be trimmed in leather. Aston Martin will make no mechanical changes to the cars, but some cosmetic changes will be made to make them look like little Aston Martins."

This may be the best opportunity for many people to own an Aston Martin - starting at around $32,000 with Toyota guts.

Honda RA-X Concept

"The Honda RA-X Concept from designer Xuacu Pérez Quesada was developed as a credible vehicle that would be fit for production with currently available technology and systems. The concept was designed to mark Honda’s presence in motorsports, and hence carries the letters RA.

The exterior of the concept shows smooth, crossing lines that form a theoretical “X,” and the engine on the mid-engine sportscar remains visible through the glass covering. The rear shows prominent engine vents and LED tail-lamps arranged in a triangular shape. The design is dominated by steep ridges, but its smooth surfaces add dynamism to the model. It measures at length 4050 / height 1163 / 1940 width. The two-seater has a 350hp MR engine supplying power to the rear wheels."

350hp, MR, 2 seater Honda concept? Could they tone this car down and use it as an NSX replacement?

I don't know how I feel about this car - I liked the front 3/4 shot but I don't like it from just about every other angle - the rear especially. To me, it screams 'Reventon with Downs Syndrome.' See more at AutoMotto.

Samsung E1107: Phone With Built in Solar Power

That is a solar panel built into a cell phone - Samsung's E1107 to be exact. Samsung claims that the battery can be brought back from the dead in only 15 minutes by sitting in the sun. Very cool feature on what looks to be an otherwise drab phone - a drab phone that is cheap ($59) and not available in America.

Schumacher: Don't Call It a Comeback...

...he's been retired for years; and he's staying there. Schumacher, who was supposed to return to F1 to replace injured Felipe Massa, has called off his return due to nagging pain from a neck injury.

"Unfortunately we did not manage to get a grip on the pain in the neck which occurred after the private F1-day in Mugello..."

According to BBC Sport, Ferrari test driver Luca Badoer will drive in Massa's place.

BaT: 1972 Datsun 510 w/ KA24.

Bring A Trailer is featuring this 1972 Datsun 510 with a KA24 (yuck) swap, for sale for $14,500.
I despise modern engine swaps in old-school cars. And in this case, it's not even an SR. This, however, does help it's case:

The engine features dual Mikuni carbs and puts down a claimed 175hp. What's your opinion on this and other modern swaps into classic cars?

Toyobaru Not On Hold After All?

According to Jalopnik and Akio Toyoda, the joint Toyota/Subaru sports car that was previously rumored to be on hold is still a go.

"Speaking in Michigan today, Akio Toyoda, Toyota's new president, said one of his objectives is to inject excitement into the automaker's lineup by reiterating plans to collaborate with Subaru on an affordable, fun-to-drive Subieyota sports car."
